About me and my work
I’m Dr. Marlen Bustillos, and my work is to help you feel better about what you see in the mirror. If something bothers you or you’d like to change it, there are ways to do that safely, with natural results that reflect who you are.
30 years of dedication
I’ve followed this calling for 30 years, and I still love my profession. Surgery puts my knowledge and skill to the test. Every case I resolve is a milestone: people with burns or serious wounds need surgical skill, compassion, and support for their families. All of this makes me love my work more each day.
I enjoy cosmetic treatments because they let me address the details of the face or body that bother patients and help them feel more comfortable with themselves.
When a new technique or area of research emerges, such as 3D reconstruction, distant flaps, epigenetics, or skin cancer, I spend time learning at the hospital where the work is taking place. This work brings both challenges and achievements.
